From gently sloping hillsides to sheer cliffs, the Romans and Bourg de Péage area offers its exceptionally diverse charms and extraordinarily varied scents to all who visit. It comprises a collection of distinctive villages, each of which is a perfect reflection of the nature that surrounds it.
You also find hamlets built from mollasse stone, rounded pebbles or Vercors limestone. The diversity of its soils allows it to offer an incredible selection of high-quality products and an extensive range of agricultural produce.
The many public footpaths will take you through oak and beech forests, onto the banks of the Isère or into the Monts du Matin mountains as far as the cliffs of Musan.
